We could not be more grateful or happier to have chosen AFS. Our children transitioned to AFS after being homeschooled for six years. It was such an incredibly smooth transition for them. We selected AFS because we wanted a school that supported -- and focused on - social/emotional learning. You can't get better than AFS in that area. Our daughter started in K at a critical time for emotional and social development and her super caring teachers helped nurture her and made her feel safe and loved, and, at the same time, she learned valuable academic skills that put her ahead of where we expected her to be at 6. The campus is beautiful, safe, and has a variety of areas on which to learn and play. We love and align with their values and appreciate meeting for worship, even though we aren't Quakers.

Abington Friends School provides a very hands-on learning experience for many subjects. As upper school students, we are given student leadership roles that enable us to have some control over what goes on around us. The teachers are kind and always willing to give extra help when asked.

My daughter have attended Abington friends since ECE. This is my son's second year. They are both in kindergarten and 3rd grade. There are no words to describe the love and passion that is displayed among the teachers and administration. Overall the school is one big loving community. The uniqueness of how the curriculum is delivered is one that is important to my family. I love that my children are constantly learning through exploration. My daughter has built a level of confidence that is like no other. They are both thriving. We love AFS.
